Yok Dolan Season 2, Johor: A 4-Day Recap of Simpang Renggam and Kluang

Yok Dolan is back for a second season in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026, and this time we spent four days and three nights in Johor, often called Malaysia's southern gateway. The trip was supported by Proton and BIG Pharmacy, together with Tourism Malaysia Southern Region and GO Multi Travel & Tours. Most of it centred on the Kluang district, including Simpang Renggam and Paloh.

Our first stop was the MY Liberica coffee farm in Simpang Renggam. Besides drinking coffee, you can tour the coffee and cocoa plantation and pick up their own coffee and chocolate at the sales gallery. Next was a rattan craft shop that has been running for more than 70 years, where everything is 100% handmade from real rattan. We ended the day at AW Pottery Studio in Machap and tried making our own pottery. Its toilet, decorated with ceramic tiles made by the owner, has become an attraction in its own right.

The next day we headed up to The Big Bean in Paloh, a hilltop coffee farm that was not yet fully operating when we visited, though the view from the top was stunning. Then came UK Farm Agro Resort in Kluang, known for goat's milk products such as lotion, yoghurt and fresh milk. You can feed deer, goats, chickens and ducks, and we even watched goats being milked live.

We wrapped up in Kluang town at Laman Kreatif, an art lane developed by the Kluang Municipal Council with Pop Art House and covered in colourful murals. The trip shows that Kluang works well for a weekend break mixing agritourism, crafts and street art.
