X Park, Iskandar Puteri: A 32-Acre Adventure Park with Chalets

Long holiday and want something more challenging than a shopping mall? X Park Sunway Iskandar in Bandar Medini, Iskandar Puteri, offers a 32-acre area dedicated to extreme and adventure activities. It's about 4 km from Legoland Malaysia and under 30 minutes from the Tuas and Woodlands checkpoints, so it's easy to fit into a Johor Bahru holiday.

For speed lovers, try the go-karts on the circuit or ride an ATV along challenging off-road trails. Want to test your nerve? There's a high rope course and a flying fox, with crew monitoring safety throughout. For those coming in groups, paintball, dodgeball and bubble ball futsal are perfect for burning off energy.

For something more laid-back, there's a golf driving range and chip and putt, archery, badminton, futsal and the increasingly popular pickleball. When we came, we also saw the Artemis Gymnastics Academy gymnastics hall operating within the grounds.

On the lake, you can pedal a swan boat and water tricycle, ride an electric boat, or try kayaking and stand up paddling. Prices are charged per activity, for example go-karts at around RM70 and ATVs from RM40 according to TheSmartLocal's coverage, so check the latest prices before coming.

Want to stay overnight? X Park has around 40 wooden villa-style chalet units, including family chalets that sleep up to eight people per room. Check-in starts at 3pm and check-out is at noon, so you can spend two days trying out the activities without rushing.
