Tok Did's Cafe, Cyberjaya: Classic Soto & Teh Tarik That Isn't Pulled
An old-school-themed café in Neo Cyber that pairs soto, chicken chop and house-made kek batik with modern-style drinks.

For Cyberjaya folks who want a café with a bit of soul, Tok Did's Cafe in the Neo Cyber row of shops on Lingkaran Cyber Point Barat is worth a try. The décor is so classic and old-school it feels like going back in time, but the menu mixes old-time dishes with a modern touch.
The shop is classic, so we started with a classic dish too: Soto Tok Did's. The broth is rich with a strong waft of spices, the chicken is tender, and it's most satisfying while still piping hot. We also tried a new item, the chicken tender with dipping sauce, crispy outside and juicy inside, great for sharing if you come as a group.
The dish we rated highest was the buttermilk chicken chop spaghetti. The buttermilk sauce is rich but balanced and not cloying, while the chicken chop is big and tender. The mee goreng chicken chop is simple comfort food that tastes like mum's cooking at home.
The drinks have a story too. The Tok Did's teh tarik isn't actually pulled; the milk is steamed using a coffee machine, giving a classic taste with a bit of modern café style. Matcha fans can go for the strawberry matcha latte, which isn't too bitter or too sweet, while the mango strawberry lassi is perfect for a hot day. There are also drinks topped with latte art.
To finish, don't miss the kek batik (chocolate biscuit cake) made in-house by the café. According to its Google Maps listing, most items here are around RM20 and below, making it an affordable lunch option for Cyberjaya workers. The café also takes orders via foodpanda.
