The Food Yard KL, Jalan Raja Laut: Many Food Vendors in One Spot
The Food Yard KL, next to Menara MARA on Jalan Raja Laut, brought together vendors selling Arab rice, laksa, fried kuey teow, ayam gunting and cendol from 28 July to 1 August 2026.
City folk around Jalan Raja Laut would not have wanted to miss The Food Yard KL, held from 28 July to 1 August 2026. It sat near Bandaraya LRT station, next to Menara MARA, with a view of the Petronas Twin Towers while you eat. Ideal for lunch or an after-work bite.
For Arab rice fans, Golden Signature Catering offered chicken mandy (spiced rice with tender meat) at RM14.90 and lamb mandy at RM16.90. Marina Kitchen sold prawn fried kuey teow at RM12, while those craving something soupy could try laksa at RM10. There was also takoyaki and ayam gunting (giant crispy chicken strips) at RM12 for a snack.
To finish, cendol (shaved ice with pandan jelly and palm sugar) was RM4, or RM10 for the cempedak version. Every RM5 spent earned one stamp, and six stamps gave visitors a chance to win prizes. The event has ended, but follow The Food Yard for its next edition.
