Things to Do in Simpang Renggam and Kluang, Johor: A Short-Break Bucket List

Bucket-list stops in the Kluang district, from a 20-hectare coffee farm and handmade rattan crafts to a hands-on pottery studio and a family-friendly goat farm.

If you are planning a short getaway to Johor, the Kluang district, including Simpang Renggam, has plenty of family-friendly stops. This video was made with Tourism Malaysia Southern Region and GO Multi Travel & Tours for Visit Malaysia 2026.

The first must-visit is MY Liberica in Simpang Renggam. According to the video, their coffee farm covers 20 hectares and visitors can watch the coffee-making process. They also grow their own cocoa and make chocolate bars that won a silver award at an international competition. Nearby, a rattan craft shop sells everything from baskets to home décor, all handmade.

Next is AW Pottery Studio in Machap, where you can make your own pottery. First-timers need not worry, as the staff guide you step by step. Many visitors check out the toilet first, thanks to its beautiful pottery decorations and wall carvings.

For families with young children, UK Farm Agro Resort in Kluang is a great pick. Kids can feed goats, deer and chickens, and you can try their goat's milk products. We tasted the milk and found it delicious with no gamey smell. The farm also runs buses to get around the grounds.
