SplashMania, Gamuda Cove: 8 Things to Know Before You Go

Opened in February 2023 in Bandar Gamuda Cove, about 15 minutes from KLIA, SplashMania is an 18-acre water park. Before you go, here are eight things we think you should know.

1. There are 39 attractions, made up of 24 slides and 15 main attractions, for all ages. Some rides that aren't suitable for kids have mini versions. 2. On busy days, add the Splash Lane, a priority lane that cuts your queuing time. The management also often runs promotions, including for the park's anniversary. 3. Every ride provides its own floats, but for the lazy river and the Omba'King Cove wave pool, extra floats can be rented.

4. Climb the multi-level ship Amazonia for a Titanic-style experience and a view of the whole park from above. 5. Lockers of various sizes, changing rooms and a surau are provided. Lockers use cashless payment. 6. There are plenty of rest spots and restaurants, and you can even rent a cabana if you want your own space.

7. For adrenaline seekers, try the Sumaumeira Drop. You stand in a capsule before the floor opens and you plunge into a looping slide, with a minimum height of 122 cm. Plunge is also among the most thrilling. We'll admit, our stomachs definitely dropped.

8. Before heading home, stop by the souvenir shop. Photos taken throughout the day can be downloaded via QR code or printed at the park's photo shop.
