SME@Ardence Grill Steamboat, Shah Alam: Steamboat, Grill and Shell Out in One
A Shah Alam buffet restaurant combining grill, steamboat and shell out, with plenty of marinades, tom yam or clear soup, and a RM33.90 member promotion.
If you can never decide between steamboat, grill or shell out, SME@Ardence Grill Steamboat in Shah Alam serves all three under one roof. It runs as a buffet, which makes it ideal for big family or friends' gatherings.
For the grill there are marinades such as honey chicken, black pepper chicken, satay chicken, paprika chicken, lamb and black pepper beef. The steamboat spread goes beyond the usual, with fish balls, assorted seafood, vegetables, Maggi noodles and fried bites. Pick between tom yam or clear soup, and mix your own suki-style dipping sauce, spicy or creamy as you like.
The shell out comes with a choice of butter milk, salted egg or kam heong sauce. There are cold and hot drinks, plus ice cream and bubur (sweet porridge) for dessert. The restaurant also has a spacious prayer room and toilets.
When we filmed, the member promotion was RM33.90. The restaurant also announced a new branch for Puncak Alam residents, scheduled to open on 1 June 2026. Prices and promotions may have changed, so check with the restaurant before you go.
