Rain Rave Water Music Festival, Bukit Bintang: The First Water & Music Party
Malaysia's first water music festival of its kind took place in Bukit Bintang over Labour Day, co-organised with Tourism Malaysia under Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

The Rain Rave Water Music Festival took place from 30 April to 2 May 2026 in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, over the Labour Day holiday. It was billed as the first water music festival ever held in Malaysia, combining a water party atmosphere with DJ performances right in the middle of the capital's busiest shopping district.
The festival was co-organised by Tourism Malaysia and The Fame as an urban tourism initiative under Visit Malaysia Year 2026. Besides international and local DJ sets, visitors could also enjoy a bazaar of local food and crafts, traditional performances and games reflecting Malaysia's multiracial culture. The aim was to attract more tourists and boost the retail and hospitality sectors.
According to reports, the authorities expect the festival to become an annual event tied to Labour Day celebrations. So if you missed this first edition, keep an eye on announcements from Tourism Malaysia and the Visit Malaysia events calendar towards April next year, and follow the FuyohhTV TikTok account for the latest coverage.
