Popia & Pulut Che Abang at Bazar Bulatan UNITEN serves popia basah (fresh spring rolls) filled with 100% vegetables, so it suits those who skip meat too. It comes with a homemade sauce, peanuts and fried shallots, and the combination really works.
Their pulut panggang (grilled glutinous rice parcels) is soft and tastes like a trip back to the kampung, especially eaten warm. There is also a frozen version to keep at home. If you prefer something crunchy, try the fried vegetable popiah and fried satar popiah, which are tasty on their own.
