Patin tempoyak fans in Kuala Lumpur could get Patin Pasu at the Wangsa Maju Ramadan Bazaar throughout Ramadan 2026. The stall was at lot 264, and this time the patin (silver catfish) was bigger than before.
You choose your cut: the head for fat lovers, the body for meaty chunks, or the tail for a balance of both. The fish are Pahang river patin from Temerloh and Bera, firm and free of muddy taste. The tempoyak (fermented durian) gravy is balanced, neither too spicy nor too sweet, with just enough sourness. Every cut costs the same, RM17 a tub, and there are rice sets plus extra sambal on request.
The 2026 Ramadan bazaar has ended. Patin Pasu also has outlets elsewhere in the Klang Valley (Kelana Jaya and Taman Melawati have been mentioned), so check TikTok @patin.pasu for permanent locations and future bazaar appearances.
