Nights of Fright 12, Sunway Lagoon: 8 Haunted Houses in an Ape-ocalypse
Sunway Lagoon's annual Halloween festival is back for its 12th edition with an Ape-ocalypse theme, eight haunted houses and three scare zones every weekend.
Nights of Fright is Sunway Lagoon's annual Halloween horror festival, running since 2013. The 12th edition in 2026 brings the theme Ape-ocalypse, a post-apocalyptic world ruled by monkeys and apes. All in all, visitors can explore eight haunted houses, a haunted theatre, three scare zones with roaming ghouls, 11 rides and shows on the main stage.
This year's attractions include Ape-ocalypse: The Kingdom Kong, Yokai Road, The Freezer: Fresh Meat, Little Shop of Horrors, Horrorwood: Wax Museum of Monsters, The Not-So-Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Return to Silent Hill, The Romeos and Juliet and the Scary Tales Theatre: Pontianak vs Pocong show. FuyohhTV managed to film the experience here during opening week, September 2026.
Nights of Fright 12 runs from 25 September to 7 November 2026, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:30pm. Tickets can be bought on the official Sunway Lagoon website, the Sunway Super App or Klook, with basic tickets on Klook at around USD34 plus Xpress Lane and Super VIP options. The event is only for visitors aged 13 and above, and costumes, full-face makeup and masks are not allowed. The management reserves the right to change operating hours or close attractions without notice, so check the official website before setting off.
