Nasi Arab Grill Setia Alam: Family Mix Talam at a New Location

There's no shortage of nasi Arab in Shah Alam, but not all of it suits the local palate. Nasi Arab Grill is one of the names long known to diners around Setia Alam since its days trading in Uptown Setia Alam. Many haven't realised the shop has moved to the Seria 88, Bandar Setia Alam shoplots, on Jalan Setia Perdana BF U13/BF.

The dish we recommend for big groups is the Nasi Talam Mix Famili. One talam (a shared rice platter) brings together chicken and lamb marinated in their own spice blend, grilled until fragrant, then arranged over flavourful Arab rice. The spices aren't too strong, so the whole family can enjoy it. For smaller groups, there's also a couple set with chicken, lamb or mixed options.

For lamb lovers, the sup kambing (mutton soup) here is hot and full of spice aroma, perfect sipped with rice. The grilled lamb chop is a more filling choice if you want a full grill meal.

A dish that's a bit different from the usual nasi Arab shop is the pizza ayam grill, topped with juicy grilled chicken and melty cheese. The foodpanda listing also shows a grilled lamb pizza and beef pepperoni, so there are options for those who want to share something lighter.
