MYKORI Merdeka 2026, All Outlets: Shout Merdeka, Get Kakigori
For Malaysia's 2026 independence month, MYKORI gave away free kakigori on 31 August to anyone who shouted Merdeka three times, alongside kakigori deals and a limited-edition Umami Gyu Bowl.
Really, free kakigori just for shouting Merdeka three times? That was one of the deals in the MYKORI Merdeka Celebration throughout August 2026 at all MYKORI outlets nationwide. On 31 August, customers who shouted 'Merdeka' three times with a minimum spend of RM10 got a free kakigori (Japanese shaved ice), in either crème brûlée or cookies and cream.
From 15 to 30 August, buying one Tiramisu Kakigori let you add a Crème Brûlée Kakigori as a purchase with purchase for just RM6.90.
For something more filling, there was a limited-edition Umami Gyu Bowl: yakiniku beef with sukiyaki sauce. You could add sundubu jjigae, a hot and spicy kimchi tofu stew, plus side dishes such as tempura and salmon sushi.
