Mie Ayam Bakso Bogor, Citta Mall: A Full Set of Indonesian Flavours
A bakso kiosk on the ground floor of Citta Mall serving Bogor-style mie ayam, bakso mercun and bakso beranak, now with an RM55 full set for sharing.
Bakso (Indonesian meatball soup) fans missing the taste of Indonesian street food can drop by Mie Ayam Bakso Bogor on the ground floor of Citta Mall, Ara Damansara (lot G-K02A). This local brand was founded by Datuk Abd Rahman Soltan with a kiosk concept inspired by the roadside mie ayam and bakso stalls of Indonesia. Besides Citta Mall, it also has branches at several AEON malls in the Klang Valley.
This time we tried their new set, which packs almost all the popular dishes into one order. The anchor is the mie ayam bakso: springy noodles coated in spiced minced chicken, real comfort food.
For chilli lovers, the bakso mercun is stuffed with a chilli filling you'll feel the moment you bite in. The bakso beranak is a giant meatball hiding an egg and little meatballs inside, making it one of the most fun dishes to share. The set is rounded off with ayam geprek, bakso rusuk (rib bakso) and bottled tea, all for RM55. For those eating solo, a regular bowl of mee ayam bakso costs around RM15 according to the listing on delivery platforms.
If you drop by in the afternoon, there's also a tea time deal: soft, fluffy homemade pandan bread paired with hot kopi O.
The dining area is simple and relaxed, great for families or friends who want to eat while shopping. The kiosk is open daily following Citta Mall's operating hours.

- The RM55 set is good for sharing between two to three people.
- Ask for a lower spice level if you can't handle chilli, especially for the bakso mercun.
