Luna Luna at Hextar World, Empire City serves a mix of Western and local flavours in a stylish space that suits friends and families alike. It also has a dedicated kids' menu and options for office workers on a lunch break.
The best-known order is the platter of grilled lamb shoulder and grilled buttermilk percik chicken rice meal. The lamb is tender and well spiced, the buttermilk percik chicken (percik is a Malay-style grilled chicken glaze) has a light smoky edge, and the sauce is rich and creamy. If you want more sauce, there are three kinds, including buttermilk and spicy buttermilk.
Pasta fans can pick the creamy, slightly spicy buttermilk percik spaghetti or a thick, tangy and savoury tomato bolognese spaghetti. There is also lightly crisp salted egg squid, plus a juicy grilled chicken burger and classic double beef burger.
To finish, try the sweet mango crunch. We drank cappuccino, a lemonade soda and a mocha frappe. According to Yahoo's listing, the buttermilk percik spaghetti costs RM18.90 and the restaurant opens daily from 10am to 9.30pm, but do check before you go.
