Lazeez Arabic Restaurant & Grill, Bukit Bintang: A Giant 13kg Platter
An Arabic restaurant on Jalan Bukit Bintang known for mandi rice and grills, which offered a 13kg Mega Platter for up to 15 people during Ramadan 2026.
Before we arrived, we assumed the platter would be modest. It turned out to be enormous! Lazeez Arabic Restaurant & Grill on Jalan Bukit Bintang serves a wide Arabic menu, and for Ramadan 2026 it offered special menus for group iftar.
The stars were the 13kg Roast & Grill Mega Platter and the 13kg Seafood Mega Platter, which the restaurant says can feed up to 15 people. Both sit on a bed of mandi rice (Yemeni-style spiced rice). The grill platter came with a whole chicken, grilled meat and lamb shank, while the seafood version was loaded with crab, prawns and fish.
For couples, there was a complete set for two, including kunafa topped with ice cream. Sets for four and eight were also available, and every portion was filling. The Ramadan promotion has ended, but mandi rice, grills and kunafa remain on the regular menu.
The restaurant opens from afternoon until late, handy for a meal after exploring Bukit Bintang.
Tips
- The big platters suit large groups; book ahead if you are coming in numbers.

- Do not skip the kunafa for dessert.
