Labis Sunrise Farm: Sunrise & Sunset from a Hilltop in Segamat
A hilltop farm stay in Labis with farm tours by bus, fresh kelulut honey, an animal farm, survival camp and lantern releases at night.

A fruit farm with 360-degree views from a hilltop, where you can watch both sunrise and sunset from the same spot. That's Labis Sunrise Farm, on Jalan Segamat, Labis, in the Segamat district of Johor.
The main activity here is the farm tour. Visitors are taken around the farm on a bus provided by the management. Along the way, we saw all kinds of fruit trees like durian, jambu, jackfruit and gac. Best of all, we got to taste kelulut honey (stingless bee honey) straight from the hive.
The accommodation is built on the hilltop, so you can enjoy sunrise and sunset views every day without going anywhere. There are around 20 air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms, for two, three or four people, as well as family rooms. Check-in starts at 3pm and check-out is before 11am.
For the kids, there's an animal farm housing livestock to see up close. A large hall is available for group programmes, as well as a camping area and campervan sites.
For a different experience, join the survival camp to learn the basics of jungle survival, including using a compass and building animal traps. At night, visitors get to release lanterns into the sky, a peaceful end to a day on the farm. This mix of activities makes it a good choice for family holidays or school programmes.
