Jaya Mata Bertam, Melaka: Three Floors of Knives, BBQ and Camping Gear
Melaka knife brand Jaya Mata opened a new three-storey store in the Bertam area of Melaka, stocking knives and sharpening services, BBQ gear and camping equipment, with a grand opening promotion in January 2026.
Melaka's well-known knife brand Jaya Mata has opened a new store in the Taman Bertam area of Melaka. To mark it, the store ran a grand opening promotion with 20% to 40% off over two days, 17 and 18 January 2026, from 10am to 7pm. That promotion has ended, but the store remains open.
The new outlet spans three floors. Level 1 is packed with knives and also offers servicing. Level 2 is stocked with BBQ gear and kitchenware, while level 3 is dedicated to camping and outdoor fans, with tents, chairs, hiking bags and Jaya Mata's own house-brand products.
During the grand opening, shoppers spending RM50 received a Knife Gallery entry ticket worth RM15, and visitors at the opening ceremony on 17 January were promised a durian buffet and mystery gifts. For the uninitiated, Jaya Mata started in Melaka in 1990 and also has outlets on Jonker Street and at AEON Mall Bandaraya Melaka.
