Food Hunter, GM Klang: A Five-Day Food Fest with Live Performances
Food Hunter ran at GM Klang for five days from 24 to 28 June 2026, bringing viral and everyday food at fair prices, plus performances from Drama Band and Baby Shima.
Klang had a food festival of its own when Food Hunter came to GM Klang for five days, from 24 to 28 June 2026. There was everything from viral snacks to everyday favourites at reasonable prices, and performances from acts including Drama Band and Baby Shima.
We shopped our way around several stalls. There was apam balik (a folded peanut pancake), crispy Chinese beef bread packed with filling, and tasty cakwe (fried dough sticks). Ayam Bakar Borneo grilled every part of the chicken, from wings and tails to skin and meat.
For drinks there was a stall with plenty of choices. Mochimoo served cute, soft mochi, and pickle lovers could buy jeruk timbang (pickled fruit sold by weight), which had us wanting more.
