Food Hunter, AEON Mall Nilai: A Five-Day Food Festival
The Food Hunter festival stopped at AEON Mall Nilai from 29 April to 3 May 2026, bringing together stalls selling khao mok rice, ramen, hot dogs, grilled sausages and Thai drinks, plus live artist performances.
The Food Hunter food festival stopped at AEON Mall Nilai from 29 April to 3 May 2026, open daily from 11am to midnight. Besides rows of food stalls, it also featured live performances, including Ella. The Nilai edition has now ended.
We started with nasi kao mok (Thai-style spiced chicken rice), which the vendor said they learnt to make in Thailand, and it was properly filling. There was also a western stall with creamy pasta carbonara, and Ramen Kayangan, whose bestseller is the meatball ramen.
For snacking on the go, there were thick grilled sausages, cheap lok-lok (skewers dipped in sauce) with lots of choice, big hot cheesy beef hot dogs and tauhu bergedil (tofu with potato fritter filling). To cool down, we tried green tea and Thai tea, plus a mango shake loaded with big chunks of mango.
Food Hunter moves from mall to mall throughout the year, for example to AEON Mall Rawang in July 2026. Follow them on social media for the next stop.
