Econsave Setia Alam: New Supermarket with Fish and Veg Straight from Source
Econsave's Setia Alam branch opened on 28 March 2026 with launch deals that have since ended, offering fish and vegetables bought directly from fishermen and farmers alongside low-priced groceries.
Setia Alam residents now have a new option for groceries. Econsave Setia Alam officially opened on 28 March 2026. According to our video, its fish is bought straight from fishermen and its vegetables straight from farmers with no middlemen, so produce is fresher.
The opening came with big deals that have now ended. These included a large chicken for RM1, Maggi curry noodles for 50 sen on 29 March, 100PLUS for 20 sen on 30 March and rice vermicelli for 10 sen on 31 March, each for the first 1,000 customers of the day. There were also buy-one-free-one offers on coconut milk, rice and sardines, plus special prices until 12 April such as a wheeled storage box at RM26.90 and A4 paper at RM9.50.
The launch offers are over, but Econsave is known for keeping everyday essentials cheap. The store is on Persiaran Setia Permai, Seksyen U13 and opens daily from 8am to 10pm.
