Econsave Kundang, Rawang: New Supermarket with Fresh Produce
Econsave opened a new branch in Bandar Baru Kundang, Rawang in January 2026 with fresh vegetables, fish and meat, plus buy-one-free-one opening deals.
Econsave now has a new branch in Bandar Baru Kundang, Rawang. For its opening, from 15 to 19 January 2026, there were buy 1 free 1 deals on items like Adabi sardines, Mr Noodles, Dato shower gel and Hoppy diaper pants. There was also 1.5-litre 100Plus at 20 sen each and Econsave rice vermicelli at 10 sen for the first 1,000 customers daily. The opening promotion has ended.
The fresh section was impressive. During the opening, shallots were RM1 a kilo, imported round cabbage RM1.99, fishballs and fishcakes RM1.80, large barramundi (siakap) RM3.90 each, broccoli RM1.99 per head, potatoes RM1.50 a kilo, garlic RM5.99 and beef RM19.50 a kilo. These prices were specific to the opening promotion.
According to the video, Econsave buys vegetables directly from farmers and sends its lorries to the jetty daily for fresh fish from fishermen. Beyond fresh produce, there are dry goods, rice and electrical items. The supermarket opens daily from 8am to 10pm.
