Casa Menanti, Seri Menanti: Poolside Cabins in Kuala Pilah

At the foot of the hills in Kampung Gunung Pasir, Seri Menanti, about 1 hour 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, Casa Menanti offers a quiet staycation in the Kuala Pilah district. From the air, its white A-frame cabins sit neatly among village greenery and paddy fields.

There are six cabins, arranged around a swimming pool with a kids' pool beside it. In our video, each cabin has a queen bed, air-conditioning, a sink, a vanity mirror and a private bathroom with a shower and water heater. The owner lives in a house overlooking the cabins and serves a kampung-style breakfast such as nasi lemak (coconut rice), plus afternoon tea.

Outside, there are umbrella-shaded dining tables by the pool, a shared pantry with a fridge, microwave and water filter, and BBQ and karaoke sets. Bicycles are free for exploring the village. In the video we also tried an ATV ride around the area.

Casa Menanti suits couples, small families, or groups who want to rent the whole resort for an event. Nearby are Istana Lama Seri Menanti, Ulu Bendul Recreational Park and Gunung Angsi for hiking. Rates vary by day and season, so check on WhatsApp before booking.

From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Expressway to Seremban, then the Seremban–Kuala Pilah road towards Seri Menanti. Kuala Pilah town is about 14 kilometres from Seri Menanti, so it's easy to pop out for food or groceries.
