Jalan TAR Raya Bazaar, Kuala Lumpur: Still Buzzing at the Last Minute
We checked out the Aidilfitri bazaar on Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman on 18 March 2026, three days before Raya, and it was still lively with traders selling outfits, cookies and festive accessories.
Jalan TAR and Raya go hand in hand. On 18 March 2026, FuyohhTV visited the Kuala Lumpur Aidilfitri Bazaar on Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman to see whether it was still buzzing in the final days. The answer was yes, with crowds still strolling and traders still calling out to shoppers.
According to the New Straits Times, around 180 stalls here sold Raya cookies, traditional clothing, jewellery, accessories and decorations. On the final day, 20 March 2026, many traders cut prices by up to 70 per cent to clear stock, and some stalls stayed open into the early hours.
The 2026 Jalan TAR Raya bazaar ended as Hari Raya Aidilfitri arrived on 21 March 2026. It returns every year, so if you love last-minute bargains, the final days before Raya are the time to go.
Tips
- Take the LRT or MRT, as parking around Jalan TAR is very limited during Raya season.
