Bazar Raya Jalan Taiping, Klang: Where Klang Shops for Raya
The Jalan Taiping Raya bazaar once again drew Klang folk hunting for festive outfits and Raya essentials ahead of Aidilfitri 2026, and we dropped by to soak up the atmosphere on 19 March 2026.
Every year as Raya approaches, Jalan Taiping in the heart of Klang turns into a sea of shoppers. This bazaar is the go-to spot for last-minute shopping, and FuyohhTV visited on 19 March 2026, two days before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
According to Tourism Selangor, the bazaar is known for its wide range of festive wear, from baju kurung and baju Melayu (traditional Malay outfits) and kurta to t-shirts and pyjamas, at reasonable prices. When we were there, traders were still inviting passers-by to stop and try things on, and some stalls also sold plasticware and home accessories.
The 2026 edition of the Jalan Taiping Raya bazaar has now ended. It returns every year in the run-up to Aidilfitri, so mark your calendar for next season. Pasar Jawa, famous for crisps and Raya cookies, is also only about 3km away.

- Come in the morning or at midday on weekdays to avoid the evening crush.
- Carry small notes, as not every stall accepts e-wallets.
- The last few days before Raya often bring discounts as traders clear stock.
