TTDI Ramadan Bazaar, Kuala Lumpur: Durian Buns, Mac Cheese and Sea Snails
TTDI Ramadan Bazaar was one of Kuala Lumpur's liveliest bazaars in Ramadan 2026, with Grana Padano mac cheese, durian-shaped buns and plenty of iftar treats along its rows of stalls.
We had heard plenty about the TTDI Ramadan Bazaar, so we went to see for ourselves whether it lived up to the hype. The bazaar in Taman Tun Dr Ismail is one of the most popular in Kuala Lumpur, and it ended along with Ramadan 2026.
One stall that caught our eye served mac cheese tossed in a wheel of Italian Grana Padano, priced at around RM20 according to the seller. We also picked up a chicken-filled bread, siput sedut (sea snails sucked from the shell) and a drink sold by the jar at RM10 each.
The bun stall sold its pau at RM4 apiece. The most unusual was a durian-shaped bun filled with durian, and when we asked for the stall's speciality, the seller simply told us to take everything. The bazaar is also known for murtabak, roti john, nasi kerabu and traditional kuih.
TTDI's bazaar usually runs daily throughout Ramadan from late afternoon until breaking of the fast. If you plan to visit next Ramadan, expect crowds and budget a little more, as prices at big bazaars like this keep climbing.
