Kampung Baru Ramadan Bazaar 2026, Kuala Lumpur: A Feast for Iftar
One of the Klang Valley's best-known Ramadan bazaars, the Kampung Baru bazaar came alive again in Ramadan 2026 with rows of iftar food stalls in the heart of the city.
The Kampung Baru Ramadan Bazaar has long been one of the most iconic in the Klang Valley. We dropped by in early March 2026 to capture the atmosphere, with rows of iftar (breaking fast) stalls in this historic Malay enclave in central Kuala Lumpur.
The bazaar is known for a mix of traditional and modern treats, including bubur lambuk (spiced rice porridge) and roti goreng McGyver (fried bread stuffed with meat), long cited among its highlights. Visitors come from across the Klang Valley to hunt for iftar food with the KLCC towers in the background.
The 2026 bazaar has ended. The Kampung Baru bazaar usually returns every year throughout Ramadan, so mark your calendar for the next one.
Tips
- Take the LRT to Kampung Baru station, as parking around the bazaar is very limited.
