On the first day of Ramadan 2026, we visited what was billed as Malaysia's longest Ramadan bazaar, reportedly. It sits in Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang, with its tents laid out in one long line across an open area.
According to media reports, the bazaar ran for about 1.4 kilometres. Plenty of netizens joked that walking it end to end counted as a brisk walk before iftar.
The first day also went viral when strong winds blew away several traders' tents. The bazaar ran throughout Ramadan 2026 and has now ended.
