Ayam Gepuk Wak Kardan, Sungai Buloh: Now Serving Basmati Hainanese Chicken Rice
A well-known ayam gepuk spot in Sungai Buloh now has a new menu: Hainanese chicken rice made with basmati, grilled squid rice, and smashed chicken and lamb sets.
Anyone living around Sungai Buloh knows Ayam Gepuk Wak Kardan on Jalan Kusta. They now have a new dish: Hainanese chicken rice cooked with basmati rice, which makes it more fragrant and appetising.
Set A and Set B. Set A comes with roasted chicken, bean sprouts, soup and sambal. Set B is Hainanese chicken rice with bean sprouts and sauce. The roasted chicken is crispy outside yet tender and juicy inside, even better dipped in the tangy, spicy red chilli sauce.
Grilled squid rice. A thick, sweet and savoury gravy with a smoky aroma that really works up an appetite.
Ayam gepuk and kambing gepuk sets. A visit isn’t complete without their original dishes. The chicken and lamb are fried until crispy, then served with fiery sambal gepuk with a hint of fried peanuts.
