Aneka Gorengan Gerai Cik Yah, Meru: 70 Vendors, Over 100 Dishes
A food hub on Jalan Kopi, Meru that has run for more than seven years, with around 70 vendors and over 100 choices, from nasi keli balado and laksam to durian crêpes.
Hungry but can't decide what to eat? Aneka Gorengan Gerai Cik Yah on Jalan Kopi, Meru, Klang could be the answer. According to our video, it has been running for more than seven years and brings together around 70 vendors and over 100 dishes, covering desserts, hearty meals, hot fritters and ready-to-eat food you can grab and go.
Among what we tried, the nasi keli balado (catfish in chilli sambal with rice) has a gentle heat that balances well with rice. Laksa fans are spoilt for choice: laksa utara (northern-style fish laksa) and laksa Sarawak come in a thick, mildly spicy broth, while laksam (rolled rice noodles in coconut fish gravy) is rich, creamy and soft. The kerabu Maggi (instant noodle salad) is salty-sweet, juicy and a little spicy.
There is also ramen roll, durian crêpe, chocolate crêpe, salad and plenty more. To drink, we went for laici kang (a lychee and fruit iced drink), sweet, fruity and refreshing.
Gerai Cik Yah opens daily except Tuesday, from 11.30am to 6.30pm. Bring friends so you can work through more stalls in one visit.
