For Shah Alam folk who want steamboat for buka puasa (breaking fast), our video takes you to the Section 7 branch of Al-Fateh Steamboat & Grill. There is plenty of raw produce: beef, chicken, seafood such as cockles, squid, prawns and clams, fish balls, eggs and vegetables. The sauces are just as varied, so you can mix your own.
The standout is the marinated lamb. Customers we spoke to also praised the lemak bakar (grilled beef fat), soft rather than chewy. Can't wait for the pot to boil? During Ramadan 2026, adult prices started at RM50, with RM39 for the late-night moreh session. Birthday guests and expectant mothers got half price, and children under five ate free. That Ramadan promotion has ended, but the restaurant carries on as a regular steamboat and grill buffet.
